Radio Electronics affect every aspect of our lives. At the Columbia County Makerspace we plan to educate, organize and mentor Amateur Radio Enthusiasts. We encourage membership in the Amateur Radio Relay League, a nationwide club dedicated to Amateur Radio

Radio Control is used for amateur and professional piloting of drones and robotic systems. Our facility will endeavor to teach responsible and ethical uses of all radio technologies, including UHF frequencies that need to used only by a licensed radio operator.

By partnering with local ham radio experts at our local ARRL Club, drone experts and industry professionals we plan to expand the knowledge, practice and experience of Columbia County amateur radio users, students and business professionals. Adherence to the ARRL radio guidelines for FCC compliance will be taught, encouraged and enforced at the Columbia County Makerspace.
